  Prescott, John Andrew May 25, 1924 - Sept. 16, 2004 No services for John Andrew Prescott, 80, of Lakeside, will be held at his request. John was born on May 25, 1924, in North Bend. He died on Sept. 16, 2004, in Lakeside. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and always lived in the local area. He enjoyed camping, hunting and bowling, and was employed as an electrician by Menasha and Weyerhaeuser Co. He married Adeline Jones on Oct. 4, 1942, in Coos Bay. He is survived by his wife, Adeline, of Lakeside; his son and wife, Sharon and Gene Prescott, of Lakeside; daughter-in-law, Donna Prescott, of Eugene; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Duane Andrew Prescott.
