He married Adeline Jones on Oct. 4, 1942, in Coos Bay.
He is survived by his wife, Adeline, of Lakeside; his son and wife, Sharon and Gene Prescott, of Lakeside; daughter-in-law, Donna Prescott, of Eugene; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
